Hello Lovelies! Just when I need no excuse or reason to buy more makeup, I go on holiday. I recently have come back from a lovely weeks holiday in Hurghada , Egypt. Now I know I must not be the only person who stocks up on makeup and perfume at the airport, COME ON! It's duty free it would be rude not to. I of course RAN start to MAC, now I am a lover of affordable makeup but I love MAC and their product are fantastic.
I treated myself to two lipsticks, a concealer and a lip pencil. First I shall start with the lipsticks.
Standing at the lipstick stand makes me feel like a kid in a candy store, I WANT THEM ALL! With an arm full of swatches and the help from my glorious mother I decided on Lady Danger and Russian Red.
Lady Danger: This lipstick is a beautiful vivid bright coral-red which compliments so many different skin tones. It is a matte finish but extremely comfortable to wear on the lips and not drying at all.
Russian Red: I have been after this lipstick for some time now and I an over the moon I finally pick it up! It is an intense blueish-red matte lipstick. Again the formula is brilliant and having the blue undertone makes this lipstick more flattering especially on my pale skin tone.
Soar Lip Liner: For my first MAC lip liner I knew I needed to pick a house hold staple to add to my collection. The mid-tone pinkish/brown colour makes it perfect for a everyday colour by itself or to wear under lipsticks, liquid lipsticks & gloss.
Pro longwear Concealer: This well known product by MAC is hands down amazing. I struggle to find the perfect concealer to cover my dark circles and puffiness around my eyes, (PS: Thanks for the under eye bags dad x) I have only used this concealer for around two weeks now but I can already tell it is going to be a staple in my makeup collection.
After I eventually finished at the MAC counter, I moved along and had a good old browse through what was on offer. Before I told myself- CHLOE YOU HAVE SPEND ENOUGH MONEY ALREADY! I picked up a couple of miniature products, I mean who can resist miniature makeup products!
I grabbed a mini Benefit Gimme Brow in Shade 3 which is amazing at making my brows look more fuller and set them in place when I have filled them in. My second miniature was a mini Benefit Hoola Bronzer, which come on Benefit already made it look adorable in the little box so a miniature version I am even more sold on it. My final mini product was a Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser. I have seen everyone and their dog raving about this so I thought what the hell I'm gonna jump on the band wagon!
So there we have it my small yet expensive airport treats!
